Kierunek Mechanical Engineering
Absolwent studiów pierwszego stopnia kierunku Mechanical Engineering zdobywa ogólne wykształcenie właściwe dla inżyniera mechanika, tzn. odpowiednią wiedzę i umiejętności w zakresie:
- ogólnej metodyki prac projektowo-konstrukcyjnych,
- projektowania, konstruowania, technologii i eksploatacji maszyn,
- technologii i technik wytwarzania,
- posługiwania się profesjonalnym oprogramowaniem komputerowym wspomagającym prace inżynierskie w dziedzinie mechaniki i budowy maszyn,
- integracji maszyn nieukończonych (robotów) w systemach produkcyjnych
- wybranych zagadnień informatycznych, ekonomicznych, prawnych i ochrony środowiska,
- analizy działania systemów mechanicznych i opisu zjawisk w nich zachodzących,
- prowadzenia badań eksperymentalnych z wykorzystaniem podstaw metrologii,
- pracy w zespole, zachowania i tolerancji wśród różnych kultur i nacji.
Absolwent, który ukończy pierwszy stopień studiów na kierunku Mechanical Engineering może być zatrudniony jako inżynier na stanowiskach: konstruktorów, technologów, eksploatatorów i głównych mechaników we wszystkich gałęziach przemysłu. Nabyte w trakcie studiów umiejętności i kompetencje skutecznego działania w zespole pozwalają mu na założenie prywatnych firm wytwórczych lub/i usługowych. Tak szerokie możliwości zatrudnienia wynikają z dużej uniwersalności zdobytego wykształcenia obejmującego oprócz wiedzy inżynierskiej również: informatykę, organizację i zarządzanie, języki obce i przedmioty humanistyczne.
