Study programme Automatic Control and Robotics
A graduate of the Automatic Control and Robotics program holding the degree of Master of Science in Engineering is prepared for creative engineering work and for conducting research related to development, automation, and computerization in the machinery, food, processing, chemical, textile industries, as well as in the energy and transport sectors. A key element of the education is preparation for independent solving of complex interdisciplinary problems in the fields of mechanics, automation, electronics, and control. The graduate is qualified to work as a designer, technologist, programmer, automation engineer, robotics engineer, or systems designer, and also possesses research competencies.
Key competencies:
*Creative – the graduate is able, based on the latest scientific literature, to develop new solutions addressing emerging needs in automation and robotization across various industrial and service sectors, with particular emphasis on robotization in production processes, automation of different areas of everyday life, and measurement systems used in research. New developments can be presented both in the form of patents and scientific publications.
*Research – the graduate is capable of planning and conducting a research process aimed at acquiring specific knowledge, designing and programming automated measurement systems, and correctly processing and interpreting results.
*Integrative – the graduate can integrate knowledge of mechanical design, control systems, software, and modeling of phenomena and devices when developing automation and robotics solutions.
*Project and team management – the graduate is able to plan activities required to implement advanced engineering and research projects, as well as organize and manage teamwork during their execution.
Chair of the Programme Board - prof. dr hab. inż Leszek Podsędkowski
