Study programme Information Technology (in English)

The Information Technology study program prepares students to design, develop, and advance modern IT solutions in a rapidly evolving technological environment. The program combines theoretical foundations in computing and engineering with a practical approach to solving engineering problems, working with data, and building systems that support the needs of contemporary organizations.

The learning experience is based on project work, laboratory classes, interdisciplinary problem-based assignments, professional internship, and the diploma thesis. Students develop the ability to analyze needs, design and document IT solutions, work effectively in teams, communicate in professional and international environments, and apply modern technologies responsibly.

The program offers two main diploma pathways: Artificial Intelligence and Software Engineering. They allow students to deepen their competencies respectively in artificial intelligence methods and data-driven solutions, or in software design, development, quality, and security. The program is complemented by elective course blocks in Cybersecurity, Data

Science, and Computer Graphics, enabling students to broaden their competence profile in line with their interests and career plans.

Graduates are prepared to work in teams responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining IT solutions, including systems based on data, software, and artificial intelligence methods. They may develop their careers in various roles within the IT sector and continue their education in second-cycle and postgraduate studies.
