Applied Computer Science

2026/27, first-cycle programme (inżynier), full-time studies

A graduate of the Applied Computer Science program has a solid theoretical background and practical skills in computer science, its mathematical foundations, and related fields, enabling them to analyze, design, implement, and evaluate IT solutions. The graduate understands the principles of operation of modern computer systems, software, networks, and data processing systems.

The graduate is able to apply algorithmic, programming, and analytical methods to solving computer science problems, including research- and project-oriented problems. They possess competences in teamwork, specialist communication (also in a foreign language at a level of at least B2), as well as awareness of the professional, ethical, and social responsibility of a computer engineer. They are prepared to continue their education in second-cycle studies and to adapt to a dynamically changing technological environment.
