Study programme Chemistry

2026/27, first-cycle programme (inżynier), full-time studies

Graduates in Chemistry possess advanced and structured knowledge of general, inorganic, organic, and physical chemistry, as well as chemical technology, based on the fundamentals of mathematics, physics, and the natural sciences. They can analyze physicochemical phenomena and technological processes, interpret research results, and apply computational, analytical, and technological methods to solve engineering problems. They design and supervise chemical processes, including environmentally friendly ones, while considering the principles of safety, efficiency, and sustainability. They select tools and techniques for engineering tasks, assess the risk and effectiveness of solutions, and organize safe workstations. They utilize professional literature, standards, and legal regulations in the field of chemical sciences, communicate effectively in a professional environment, and collaborate within a team carrying out assigned tasks. They make decisions with consideration of economic, legal, and ethical aspects and develop their competencies through lifelong learning. Graduates are prepared to work in chemical and related industries, research laboratories, regulatory institutions, and to run their own businesses. Can continue their studies in second-cycle and postgraduate studies.
