Study programme Electronics and Telecommunications

Graduates of first-cycle Electronics and Telecommunications programs have advanced competencies in identifying, formulating, and solving complex engineering problems in electronics and telecommunications. They can plan and conduct experiments, including measurements and computer simulations, as well as interpret their results and diagnose system malfunctions. They are skilled at formulating design assumptions, preparing technical specifications, and designing, modifying, and expanding electronic and telecommunications systems using appropriate methods, components, technologies, and design and simulation tools. They can implement algorithms in microprocessor systems and programmable logic systems, integrating hardware and software. Graduates can effectively acquire information and communicate using specialized terminology in electronics and telecommunications, also in a foreign language. They can present and evaluate diverse perspectives and lead substantive discussions. They function effectively in teams, participating in goal setting, planning, and implementing collaborative tasks. They are ready to take on engineering and design work in companies and institutions in the electronics, telecommunications, and IT sectors, as well as other areas of expertise. Thanks to their preparation for further independent learning, they can manage their own professional development and/or pursue second-cycle studies.
