Study programme Business, Society and Technology (in English and French)

A graduate of the engineering program in Business, Society and Technology is a modern specialist ready to operate at the intersection of technology, business, and society. With a strong foundation in mathematics, engineering sciences, and information technologies, combined with knowledge in management, communication, sustainable development, and to some extent natural sciences, the graduate is well-prepared to understand and improve contemporary production systems in an integrated and responsible manner.

The study program is interdisciplinary and shapes professionals who combine technical competencies with a business-oriented approach, flexibility, and social engagement. The graduate understands how organizations function, is capable of optimizing production processes and uses digital tools and data to support strategic decision-making. At the same time, they collaborate effectively in teams, communicate across cultures, and engage with social and environmental challenges.

Throughout the course of study, student develops practical skills in process planning, quality management, logistics, business analytics and team project execution. Courses dedicated to Industry 4.0 and 5.0 technologies, sustainable development, and entrepreneurship foster an innovative mindset and readiness to implement change in modern organizations.

Typical career paths include roles in production and operations management, business process improvement, supply chain coordination, quality and maintenance supervision, as well as digital transformation projects. Graduates are well-equipped to work in manufacturing and service companies, consulting companies and innovation-driven start-ups. They can also develop careers in facility and property management, data analysis or in the fields of sustainability and corporate social responsibility.

Fluency in English or French, along with well-developed presentation and negotiation skills, enables the graduate to operate effectively in international and multicultural environments. Thanks to their broad education and project experience gained during the program, they are prepared to take on diverse roles requiring both technical understanding and insight into management processes.
